Thomas M. Bretz is the CEO of Century 21 Affiliated’s Chicago office. Along with CFO Adam Freeman, Tom built the successful Chicago branch that has experienced significant growth over the past few years. The Chicago office focuses on properties in the Chicago Metro area, northern Illinois, and southeastern Wisconsin.

Adam Freeman is a private equity and investment professional who brings 15 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate investment, and building businesses to the role of Principal at Elmdale Partners. Throughout his career, Mr. Freeman has completed in excess of $1 billion of total transactions, including over $115 million of real estate acquisitions and investments.

Menash Zadik joined Elmdale Partners in 2015, and is part of the cumulative effort involving existing operations, as well as acquisitions, underwriting, raising equity and property management. Mr. Zadik has 20 years of experience in real estate brokerage, investments, management, operations and dispositions.

James Sayegh is a Principal at Elmdale Partners and brings a wealth of knowledge on maximizing property value both through physical improvement and efficient asset management practices. Matthew Lebenson has over 15 years of experience in the placement of commercial mortgages. He most recently successfully arranged roughly $50 million in commercial financings as a founding member of Wool Finance Partners. Matthew attributes his success in the commercial mortgage arena to his ability to effectively communicate and articulate the needs and desires of both the lender and borrower, resulting in seamless transactions.
Kathleen Marting is a Senior Property Manager with Elmdale Partners. Ms. Marting has over 25 years of experience in property management in the Chicagoland area, and she received her Real Estate License in 1999. Prior to Elmdale, Ms. Marting played a vital role in the inner workings of Century 21 Affiliated, Draper and Kramer, Inc., and Sperry Van Ness.

JoAnna Aviles joined Elmdale Partners in 2016 as an Agent Services Coordinator. Ms. Aviles has over 18 years of experience in the real estate market. Prior to joining Elmdale, Ms. Aviles was a Portfolio Operations Director with Invitation Homes.
Veronica Bason is the Bookkeeper for Elmdale Partners, managing the financial tracking, reporting, and receivables for all Elmdale properties and investment entities. Ms. Bason has over 10 years of accounting, compliance, and finance experience, and is currently working toward her CPA certification. Ms. Bason received her Masters of Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Susan Palermo is the Administrative Assistant at Elmdale Partners. Ms. Palermo has over 13 years of Administrative experience, and joined Elmdale in 2016 to oversee office operations and manage the administrative duties for the company. Prior to joining Elmdale Partners, Ms. Palermo held Administrative positions at several firms in the real estate, publishing, and education fields.
Warren R. Gary is the Director of Architecture and Construction. As a licensed Architect in Illinois, Warren has a breadth of experience in various occupant facilities including: residential single and multi-family, medical office and outpatient facilities, skilled nursing, independent living, supportive living, senior living, restaurant and food service, business office, religious, industrial, retail and mixed use. Warren has been involved in over three million square feet of development ranging from feasibility studies to design through construction in the Chicago metro area.
Emanuel Arrambide is an investment analyst with Elmdale Partners. Mr. Arrambide has been a broker with Century 21 since 2012, primarily focusing on guiding and supporting real estate investors. He formed Lakeshore Properties Group with partners, which focused on acquiring, remodeling and managing properties in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Prior to working in real estate, Mr. Arrambide graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, and worked for 10 years as a chef in some of the most prestigious restaurants across the nation.
With ten years of administrative experience and a background in graphic design, Briseida 'Bri' LaCour takes on the dual role as both the in-house Graphic Designer and Administrative Assistant at Century 21 Affiliated. She recently graduated from DeVry University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Design and Development.
Sarah Blantz joined the Century 21 Affiliated Leadership team in June 2017 as the Lead Administrator. With over 10 years of comprehensive administrative experience in the leasing, public relations, and communication industries, she provides operational support to all Affiliated office in IL, IN, MI, and FL.
Krystal Ortiz is an Executive Administrator for the Century 21 Affiliated Leadership Team. Ms. Ortiz joined the Affiliated team in March 2017 to provide operational support to all Affiliated offices in IL, IN, MI, and FL. Krystal has over 10 years of Real Estate experience in leasing, property management, mortgage processing and Title. Most recently, Krystal served as a Scheduling Coordinator for Affinity Title Services and also manages her own printing business.
